All American Ford in Old Bridge

2024 Mustang RTR

Jun 8, 2023

RTR

In 2009 Vaughn Gittin Jr. created RTR at the age of 26. He built his Mustang a year prior to compete on the track, and immediately realized the Mustang community was a special group. This inspired him to elaborate on Ford’s already amazing Mustang performance. By early 2010, it was announced that Ford Motor Company and RTR had formed an alignment. Now over 10 years later, RTR’s passionate and talented team are still designing and delivering vehicles, like the Mustang RTR, to select Ford dealers all over the world.

Mustang Headquarters

All American Ford is your Mustang headquarters for a reason. As one of the biggest dealers in the Northeast, we get tons of inventory daily. With our in house custom body shop and partnerships with some of the top custom wrap companies, we can get you in the Mustang of your dreams. Since All American Ford is the #1 Ford dealer in the Northeast, RTR gave us a first look at the new 2024 Ford Mustang RTR.

Our Sneak Peak

RTR brought the first 2024 Mustang RTR to our dealership to give us a sneak peak! They brought a Spec 2 to show us which had tons of great features like the new LED headlamps. This one also featured high flow bumper heat extractor and lower grille as well as corner pockets for higher airflow. The Mustang RTR Spec 2 has tactical performance suspension with a one inch lower tactical spring and fully adjustable struts, sway bars, and shocks. Additionally, it comes with RTR badging, duckbill spoiler, and five different wheel options. Inside you will find a performance shifter in automatic or manual models. You can get leather but we got to see the Recaro seats and they all come with an RTR dash plaque.

Customizations

When it comes to custom and specialty vehicle needs, All American Ford is the one-stop-shop for you! We can do it all for you right here in Old Bridge. Do you want a Ford Mustang that will turn heads while driving down the Garden State Parkway? We have you covered with All American Ford Customizations. Our customizations can be cosmetic like lighting, decals, bumpers, painted rims, grilles or emblems. However we also offer engine performance upgrades as well as performance exhausts. Besides all of those we also have partnerships with the top wrap companies New Jersey has to offer. We want to be able to give you whatever distinctive look it is you are searching for. We are always getting new custom and specialty vehicles like ROUSH, Shelby, and RTR.

All American Ford

The Ford Mustang is the obvious choice, escpecially with RTR’s available performance upgrades. Give us a call today at All American Ford to check out our inventory and learn more.

The Ford Bronco

All American Ford in Old Bridge is your Bronco Headquarters for a reason. With tons of inventory and our in-house customs body shop, we can get you in the Bronco designed to your liking and lifestyle. The newly designed Ford Bronco is the best of both worlds. It is designed for on-road comfort and off-road capability. With the Ford Bronco’s modern technology including bigger screens, spacious interior, and newer design it is the obvious choice amongst its competition. The Ford Bronco has a better safety rating according to IIHS testing as well, making it a well-equipped vehicle for both fun and families.

Competitors

The Ford Bronco comes out on top, above the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4runner for many reasons. There are some similarities but the Bronco has what it takes to set it apart from the rest. Where the competitors fall short, the Bronco picks up the slack making it the best in its class. Ford’s design has been modernized whereas the Toyota and Jeep have had the same style for years. You are bound to turn some head while cruising down Route 9!

Off-Roading Capability

When it comes to off-roading, the Ford Bronco has what it takes. With Trail 1-Pedal Drive, the driver is capable of controlling the vehicle’s speed with only the accelerator pedal. This is a feature neither Jeep nor Toyota offers. The Bronco has a Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain). These modes include Normal for everyday driving like your commute to work, Eco which helps drivers maximize fuel efficiency, and Sport for on-road driving when you want a sportier sound and quicker shifting. The options don’t end there though. G.O.A.T Modes also offer Slippery, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Rock Crawl, Baja, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul. The Wrangler and 4Runner have half or less of these modes. Water fording, approach angle, and Trail Turn Assist are all things that come in handy when off-roading. Coincidentally, these are all things that only the Bronco can offer, making it the obvious choice for our trail-loving customers.

Everyday Driving

The Ford Bronco has a smoother ride according to reviewers. This is due to the stiff suspension on the Wrangler and body lean on the 4Runner. All trim levels of the Ford Bronco have more cargo space, comfortable seats and more features than the competitors. With all of the safety features like brake assist, Blind Sport with Cross Traffic alerts, and Lane-Keeping System you are less likely to get in an accident, but if you do, the safety rating is higher than competitors for crashes. So you and the family can enjoy a safe ride down the Garden State Parkway to the jersey shore!

Engines

The Ford Bronco offers either the 2.3L EcoBoost 4 cylinder or the 2.7L EcoBoost V6, in any model, as well as the 3.0L EcoBoost V6 in the Raptor. This is substantial compared to the one engine that Toyota offers in the 4Runner. The 2.3L EcoBoost 4 cylinder gets more torque and horsepower than both of the engines that Jeep offers.

Options and Features

Like the Jeep Wrangler, the Bronco’s roof and doors are removable. However, what sets the Bronco apart is that the doors fit inside the cabin, whereas that is not the case for the Wrangler. Another benefit of the Bronco is that they mounted the side view mirrors on the cowl, instead of the removable doors like Jeeps design. The 4Runner does not offer this feature at all. With the completely free FordPass app, you are able to lock, unlock, and remote start your Bronco from any distance easily with your phone! Experience the thrill of open air driving in your Bronco around Old Bridge and explore the town in style!

The Ford F-150

All American Ford is your F-150 Headquarters for a reason. Here in Old Bridge we have tons of inventory. We also offer an in-house customs body shop, so we can get you in the perfect F-150 tailored to your lifestyle. The F-150 is a highly versatile and reliable truck that is perfect for both work and play. It has powerful engine options, impressive towing capacity, and advanced safety features. The F-150 is the ideal choice for anyone who needs a vehicle that can handle tough jobs and long drives. Whether you’re hauling heavy loads around the back roads of Old Bridge or cruising down Route 9, the F-150 delivers the performance and comfort you need to get the job done right. With its stylish design, spacious interior, and cutting-edge technology, the F-150 is the ultimate pickup truck for anyone who demands the best.

Competitors

The Ford F-150 has been the best selling pickup truck for 45 years straight, and with reason. Against the Chevy Silverado and RAM 1500, the F-150 is the best in its class. Packed with options and features, the F-150 is equipped to get you where you need to go, efficiently, safely, and comfortably.

Towing Capacity

The Ford F-150 has the strength you need when it comes to towing. With a max payload rating, for every cab configuration, and endless towing technology. There are no limits with America’s best selling pickup. The Ford F-150 has a higher towing capacity than both the RAM and Silverado. The F-150 is equipped with OnBoard Scales with Smart Hitch, which helps drivers stay within their vehicle’s weight limits while carrying cargo or towing.  The others do not have this technology. Ford’s F-150 also makes towing easy with the Pro Trailer Backup Assist feature. By turning the control knob the desired direction for the trailer, the truck will then use the technology to back it into where you directed it. These are all things that only the F-150 can offer, making it the obvious choice for our customers that need to tow.

Engines

The Ford F-150 offers over 7 engine options in total, many more than the competition. This is substantial compared to the 3 engines that RAM offers. The 3.5L PowerBoost full Hybrid V6, has more horsepower and torque than the Dodge 5.7L V8. Plus, Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 delivers more power than both of Chevrolets V8 engines. While Chevy does not offer a hybrid option, the F-150 can get around 765 miles of range with the hybrid engine.

Options and Features

All vehicles now come with some Driver Assist features. However, they are not always standard on the lower or mid level models like in a Ford. Drivers have to go up to the most expensive models in the Chevy Silverado to achieve these Driver Assist functions. While the standard RAM only can offer a backup camera, the F-150’s got you covered. In the 2023 F-150’s you will have lane keeping, post collision braking, and rear view camera with hitch assist. You will also get pre collision assist, with emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Another benefit of the F-150 is that they included the Pro Power OnBoard. This features up to four electrical power outlets in the cargo bed and one in the cab. With the completely free FordPass app, you are able to lock, unlock, and remote start your F-150 from any distance easily with your phone!

The Custom Wrapping Process

There are a few options when it comes to wraps; a full color vinyl wrap, a printed design wrap and graphics. If you opt for a printed design, the company then needs to print that onto vinyl sheets. Apply the sheets is the same regardless of what type you choose. The vinyl sheets are heat up, so it adheres to the surface of the vehicle. Then trimmed to fit the vehicles shape using a computer generated image. There’s a clear ceramic protective coating put on top of the wrap. This is to protect it from pebbles, scrapes, rips and more. The custom wraps can last 4-7 years. Especially with the extra ceramic coating we use. Custom wraps can be removed at any point. Likely, taken off with no residue, damage or marks left on the original paint.

What We Offer:

Thinking of buying a Ford F-150 or Ford Explorer but wanting a more unique color like teal or purple? Or just a full blackout with our most popular wrap choice? — Satin or Matte Black. No worries! We can wrap your Bronco, Escape, Bronco Sport, Mach-E, Mustang, Ranger, Maverick or virtually any model. Here at All American Ford, we carry a ton of in-stock wrapped vehicles or we can wrap your existing vehicle — even if you didn’t buy it from us.

All American Ford in Old Bridge is Now Offering Overnight Test Drives with the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Written by Jason Savino, Marketing Director for the All American Auto Group

The Award-Winning 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

The Award-Winning 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E

What is the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

The all-new, 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is electric and exhilarating. It’s a brand new model from Ford Motor Company that combines the power of the Mustang name, the luxury, comfort & utility of an SUV and all-electric savings. This model is all-electric, which means no gas, no engine (think front trunk space!) and all the benefits of a powerful battery-operated machine. It has an EPA-estimated range of 305 miles, so you never have to worry about running out of gas electricity. It has a 0-60 in 3.5 seconds and up to 480 horsepower, so power doesn’t need to be questioned.

The best part — the value. It starts at just $42,895 and is eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit. There’s also no sales tax on it in New Jersey (about a $3,000 savings). Not to mention savings of close to $1,000 on gas vs electricity and less routine maintenance because there’s no oil for oil changes. There are tons of different options and you can learn about the different trim levels here.

What sets it apart from the competition?

There’s a lot to love about this all-new, all-electric SUV from Ford. Right now, Telsa is the main source of established competition. Besides that, the choices are very slim compared to what you get with the Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Awards

The Mach-E is getting a lot of attention from customers and critics alike. It has already nabbed tons of awards including the all important 2021 North American Utility Of the Year award. Some of the others include; Green Car Journal’s Green Car of the Year, Edmunds’ Top-Rated Luxury Electric Vehicle, The Car Connection’s Best Car to Buy 2021 and Best Electric Car to Buy 2021, Green Car Reports’ Best Car to Buy 2021 and Car and Driver’s Editor’s Choice. The Mach-E is a winner because of it’s unique combination of power, performance, value/price and range/charging ease.

Looks / Style

Telsa is known for being simplistic and minimalist; something some fans will call futuristic. The exterior of a Tesla, especially the larger models, can look very bland and sometimes funky. The interior of the Telsa and other all-electric vehicles are typically simplistic and not comfortable. That’s where the Mach-E really excels past the competition. The exterior is very sleek and aggressive. It combines honor to the Mustang with a luxury and stylish SUV.

The Stylish 2021 Mustang Mach-E

The Stylish 2021 Mustang Mach-E

The interior is more of a conventional SUV interior where there’s no learnability or time to get used to it (a big complaint about Telsa). And the comfort factor cannot be overlooked. Here’s a great article about how a Telsa owner raved about the Mach-E’s comfort while driving it across the country. One of our first customers to purchase a new Mustang Mach-E said “the difference is that it feels like it was built by a real car manufacturer.”

The Actual Driving

The Mustang Mach-E has been praised for how fun and engaging it is to drive. It has one of the highest horsepower’s for all-electric vehicles and you really feel it when you step on the pedal. Telsa owners have said the handling and the feel on all different types of roads is a big plus for the Mach-E. I recently took it home for an entire weekend and absolutely loved it. I gushed about it on our dealerships podcast episode.

Previously, I had never driven an all-electric vehicle (besides on the lot with the Fusion Energi), and I was completely blown away. I was not expecting it to be that nice and that much fun — which is why we are truly urging folks to test drive. And our overnight test drive is the perfect offer to ensure it’s the right vehicle for you. We’re positive you’ll fall in love with it as so many customers have so far.

How does the overnight test drive work?

All American Ford in Old Bridge is offering overnight test drives for the Mustang Mach-E. It’s so simple. All you need to do is fill out a loaner car agreement (just as you would from our service department when you take a loaner vehicle), provide your license, insurance card and a credit card on file, and enjoy! You can schedule and book it ahead of time with one of our managers. One of our Mach-E Specialists will be happy to go over all the features of the vehicle beforehand.

With the 305-mile range, we don’t expect that you’ll need to charge at home, but you can! Each Mustang Mach-E comes with a mobile charging kit with a long extension cord, a 120V outlet adapter and a 240V outlet adapter. Book your overnight test drive today but filling out this form or giving us a call! Listen to our dealership podcast, All American Auto Mall in Old Bridge Updates, for more information. I discuss this process and everything in this article in episode 36.

Can All American Ford in Old Bridge customize a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

All American Ford in Old Bridge and our in-house body shop, AAF Customs, can customize anything! Really, we pretty much can! Whether it’s simple logo/emblem painting or color matching, to light kits, lift kits, custom bumpers, graphics or wheels, we can do it all. Don’t forget upgraded performance with power pacs and superchargers from ROUSH Performance and Shelby. For the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, so far it’s been all about logo/emblem painting and full wraps. We recently provided NY Mets first baseman, Pete Alonso, with a custom satin black wrapped Mustang Mach-E. He absolutely loves it! We also recently got back a beautiful blue satin wrapped Mach-E.

Custom Wrapped Mach-E's

Custom Wrapped Mach-E’s

These full satin wraps with a clear ceramic protective coating really give the vehicles a unique, sleek and aggressive look. We can do these wraps for any vehicle as well and have already with an Explorer, F-150 and Mustang. We do it to brand new vehicles for stock but can also have it done on a vehicle you currently own or lease, no matter how old. It’s considered an upgrade so there’s no lease penalty and it will increase the resale value of your vehicle.

What are the buying options for the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

You can lease the Ford Mustang Mach-E like other SUVs. Ford Motor Company lease programs change monthly, so we recommend checking with one of our sales staff for the latest options. We update our specials page as best as we can, sometimes Ford will change programs mid-month too. Currently for May, we have a lease special starting at just $499/month for a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The finance program from Ford is a 0.9% APR for 48 months. Remember that when you finance, you don’t pay sales tax in New Jersey because it’s a zero emissions vehicle — that saves you upwards of $3,000 over a comparative gas SUV. The Mustang Mach-E is eligible for a $7,500 Federal Tax Credit. Customers who are test driving this vehicle are falling in love. Add that to the amazing savings and economics of it, and this 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E becomes clearer and clearer as a very smart choice.

Don’t just take my word for it (or the tons of positive reviews and industry awards); make sure you take advantage of our All American Ford in Old Bridge overnight test drive!

Two Bronco Sport Big Bends at All American Ford in Old Bridge

The All-New 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Has Arrived at All American Ford in Old Bridge

The all-new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is the perfect combination of size, value, capability, functionality, technology and safety. It’s truly best-in-class and crushes the competition in the compact and sub-compact SUV class(es). People have called it the baby Bronco, as the Bronco Sport is a smaller version of the full-size Bronco. The full-size 4-door and 2-door Broncos will start to arrive by the Summer of 2021. While this Bronco Sport may be more compact, it’s very roomy on the inside with best-in-class head room and best-in-class cargo volume. It’s built on the same platform as the Ford Escape, just with a higher, safari-style roof.

Don’t let the naysayers spread their negativity saying this isn’t a real Bronco because that’s just garbage. This new Bronco Family of the Bronco Sport, 4-Door Bronco and 2-Door Bronco carry on the Bronco brand and expand on it in amazing ways. The Bronco Sport was purposely designed and inspired by the classic Bronco. Its silhouette was engineered with the iconic architectural elements of a Bronco, uniquely tuned to fit the needs of a new wave of adventurer. The fundamental design is complete with peaked front fenders, a flat bodyside, contrast-color roof, one-piece grille and two round headlamps, bisected with perfect geometry by a bar proudly displaying the Bronco name.

Different Models for the Bronco Sport

The Ford Bronco Sport family has five different models to choose from. The base model starts at just $26,660. This is very competitive for the class, especially considering it offers so much more and every Bronco Sport comes with standard 4×4. This is typically an expensive add-on for the competition. The Big Bend™ adds some practical and accommodating features including zipper pockets with a MOLLE strap system, rear flood lights, SecuriCode™ keyless entry keypad, rubberized cargo floor, unique easy-to-clean cloth seats and more. Step up to the Outer Banks™ model for 18-inch machined-face aluminum Ebony black-painted wheels, a shadow black roof, a bold black grille with white Bronco badging, and leather-trimmed interior.

Different Models for the Bronco Sport

Different Models for the Bronco Sport

The Badlands™ is the peak of Bronco Sport capability and the pinnacle of off-road performance. You get a rugged exterior that includes metal bash plates, off-road tires, 17-inch wheels, advanced 4×4, Trail Control™ and two additional G.O.A.T. Modes™ to help you tackle any type of terrain. The First Edition is the fifth model. It encompasses the best of what a Bronco Sport has to offer. It has the capability of Badlands with the refined styling of the Outer Banks. The First Edition is fully loaded and one-of-a-kind. Like anything unique, it was only available to reserve for a limited time and sold out very early on.

Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, both of the available EcoBoost engines are engineered to ignite your adventure. The 1.5L EcoBoost Engine comes in the Base, Big Bend and Outer Bankers models and boasts 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque. The Badlands model completely leaves the competition in the dust with a best-in-class horsepower and torque. The 2.0L EcoBoost and advanced 4×4 in the Badlands delivers 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque.

Bronco Sport G.O.A.T. Modes™

Bronco Sport G.O.A.T. Modes™

Bronco Sport G.O.A.T. Modes™

The Bronco Sport allows you to adjust your drive mode to match the environment. It’s part of it’s class-leading Terrain Management System™. The five standard G.O.A.T. Modes™ (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) are Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco and Normal. The ever-capable Badlands model comes with two additional modes: Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl. The Rock Crawl mode is what you’ll notice in the crazy footage from Ford Motor Company of the Bronco Sport literally crawling over boulders. These modes aren’t just helpful in the wildest of terrains though; the slippery, sport, eco and normal are helpful during your typical pavement commute or weekend getaway.

H.O.S.S. Suspension

Every Bronco Sport has a High-Performance, Off-Road, Stability, Suspension system or H.O.S.S. This system was tested in the wild and optimized to help drivers maintain vehicle composure while aggressively taking on a rugged terrain. But you will notice how smooth it makes your pavement commute. It’s all about the struts and shocks. And this becomes a gigantic competitive advantage as one of the main complaints from customers with Jeep’s is how horrible and bumpy the ride is. You absolutely need to test drive the Bronco Sport if you’re considering the smaller Jeeps or have had one in the past. You will notice an immediate difference.

Bronco Sport Best-in-Class Interior

Bronco Sport Best-in-Class Interior

Bronco Sport Best-in-Class Interior

The interior of the Bronco Sport is surprisingly very spacious and comfortable, especially compared with the competition. The center console includes a rotary gear shift dial for a more open feel, as well as a place to securely store some of your smaller items. In addition, the 8-inch touch screen features Ford SYNC3 with Apple CarPlay compatibility. A best-in-class cargo volume of 65.2 cu. ft. behind the first row helps make packing painless. And the available rubberized flooring in the cargo area and rubberized rear seat backs create an easy cleanup. The safari-style roof gives extra height for best-in-class head room for even your tallest friends. There’s even enough room to fit two mountain bikes standing up, with the back seats folded down.

Bronco Sport Safety Technology

Every Bronco Sport comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot36o™ Technology, way more than the competition can offer. Ford Co-Pilot360 is a standard set of driver-assist technologies which include Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane-Keeping System, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Rear View Camera and more. As part of the H.O.S.S. Suspension system, there are anti-roll bars that help with stability. Something that the Jeeps greatly struggle with.

Tech for the Trail

When you’re out exploring in your new Bronco Sport, you’ll want the best tech features. The available front 180-degree camera with split view acts as a spotter on the trail at slow speeds which gives you a closer look at what lies ahead and even has a built-in washer. One of the cooler features is the Breadcrumb Navigation. You drop virtual breadcrumbs along your way so that GPS remembers your route just in case you need some assistance getting back to where you started. And of course FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot comes in handy while camping or out far in the wild. Up to 10 devices can connect at once and you can track your Wi-Fi data usage and you can access the hotspot up to 50 feet outside the Bronco Sport.

Reserve Your 2021 Ford Bronco with All American Ford today!

The Ford Bronco is finally back! And not just one, but a family of three all-new 2021 Ford Bronco models. The 2021 Ford Bronco line-up will include the classic Bronco 2-door, the first ever Bronco 4-door and the all-new Bronco Sport. There is a lot to be excited about when looking at the whole Bronco family. With hundreds of factory-back accessories, the options and combinations are nearly endless. The best part is that there will be a Bronco for everyone, with the base Bronco Sport starting at just $26,660 (roughly the price range of a 2020 Ford Escape). The whole lineup comes with standard 4×4 and truly built Ford tough. Ford has long been the leader with their trucks and SUVs and this Bronco family will only add to it.

When will the 2021 Ford Bronco be available?

The number one question from customers right now is when will the 2021 Ford Bronco be available at our dealership and for a test drive. The 2021 Ford Bronco is one of the most hyped launches of all time. Ford Motor Company did a really nice job with the reveal across the Disney family of networks on July 13th. The reservation portal opened on Ford.com and the reservations came flooding in. The First Edition trims have quickly sold out. The All American Auto Group received over 200 reservations within just the first 2 days. It was unlike anything we’ve ever seen from a vehicle launch.

The Bronco Sport model will be the first to come in. The ordering portal officially opened on July 14th for that specific model and will arrive at dealerships in late 2020. As the #1 Ford dealership in New Jersey and with tons of reservations turning into orders each day, we expect to receive a large amount of sold orders by December 2020. The Bronco 2-door and 4-door will become available a little bit later on. Reservations are being taken until late 2020, when they will start to be converted over to orders. The first sold orders are expected to arrive by the spring of 2021.

All American Ford in Old Bridge will have the largest selection, by far. That’s always a given. We pride ourselves on our large selection and that will be very important when it comes to the Bronco. We do urge customers to place reservations and orders online because stock units will come after the orders, in most cases. All American Ford has one of the largest accessory and customization centers in the Northeast as well, which will definitely be an important factor with the new Bronco family.

The 7 Coolest Things About the All-New 2021 Ford Bronco Family

Why seven? Lucky number of course. This list could have been 50. We encourage everyone to read or watch more about these amazing new vehicles. And we’d love to hear your thoughts on them in the comments section.

Ford Incorporated the Vintage Facia Design

Ford Incorporated the Vintage Facia Design

1. Throwback to the Original

From what we’re seeing so far, Ford Motor Company took a lot of care with paying homage to the original Bronco and its amazing history. There are obvious throwbacks like the signature round headlamps, horizontal cartridge grille, short overhangs with vertical and clean flat body sides and more. As a throwback to the first-generation Bronco, there are trail sights on the front fenders that can be used as tie-downs.

G.O.A.T was the original internal code name for the ’66 Bronco project at Ford. The new 2021 Ford Bronco lives up to this original idea of “Goes Over Any type of Terrain”, as the archetype of an agile, sports-oriented off-road 4×4. With these new G.O.A.T Modes™, you can adjust your drive mode to match the environment. There are five standard modes: Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco and Normal. The ever-capable Badlands model comes with two additional modes: Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl. As a more symbolic throwback to the Bronco’s love affair with nature, the interior materials and colors of the 2021 Ford Bronco are inspired by “natural palettes and outdoor gear,” according to Ford.

These new 2021 Ford Bronco models will have the classic feel of a Bronco with some overwhelming enhancements by Ford. A lot of chatter in the media right now are calling it the “Jeep-killer”. We tend to agree, as these models will directly compete and overpower the inferior Jeep models. More on that later (see “Best-in-Class” section below).

2. Take It Off & Get Up Close & Personal to the Great Outdoors

The 2021 Ford Bronco models make the open-air experience quick, easy and fun. The roof of the new Bronco models comes in sections that are quickly and easily removable. Just snap, push and lift away. The Bronco 4-door comes with a class-exclusive removable hardtop middle panel that provides a second-row open-air experience without removing the rear cap. You’ll also enjoy class-exclusive frame-less doors that are lightweight and easy to remove.

One of the biggest complaints about the Jeep Wrangler (besides being very bumpy and uncomfortable) is that there’s no where to store the removable doors besides your garage. But what if you take them off while camping? Or at your destination? Ford engineering has solved that. The Bronco comes with protective door bags for all four doors (or two doors) to be put in. Then, they can be stowed in the storage compartment and stay fully protected from damage. Now you can swap between doors on and doors off for highway and off-roading use on the go.

3. Options, Options, Options

There are a lot of different 2021 Ford Bronco models/trims to choose from but for one of the first times in Ford’s history, there are hundreds upon hundreds of factory backed accessories. To start with the actual models/trims: there are three family members — Bronco Sport, Bronco 2-Door and Bronco 4-Door. With the 2021 Ford Bronco, there are seven different models to choose from: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, WildTrak and First Edition. Each of those come with a variety of options. And there are different packages as well including Standard Package, Mid Package, High Package, Lux Package and Sasquatch Package. Since we’re the largest Ford dealership around, and by a wide margin, we’ll have the largest spread of selection to shop from. For those reserving and ordering online ahead of time, we recommend you browse through everything on Ford.com’s helpful Bronco details page.

We’re very excited about the customization potential of the 2021 Ford Bronco family. All American Ford in Old Bridge’s customization shop is ready to make your Bronco, truly the only one like it out there. We can make it something that no one else on these New Jersey roads has. We’re also excited about the potential for ROUSH Performance customizations, since we are the #1 ROUSH Performance dealer group in the Northeast.

4. Living for the Outdoors

There’s a lot of fun things about the 2021 Ford Bronco that make it an adventurers dream vehicle. Ford really made it so that it can go anywhere and do anything. And most impressively they thought about a lot of little things that will make big differences to customers. Buttons will be finished in rubber so they are protected against dirt and water. That makes them easy to clean, too. You will also get rubberized, washable flooring on certain models. There’s an integrated drain plug so cleanup is easy as well.

Something that will become really important to adventurers is that the FordPass Performance app will feature off-road navigation and trail tracking capabilities. Let’s face it though, most folks that buy the 2021 Ford Bronco in New Jersey are sticking to the Garden State Parkway and their normal rather than in the desert or climbing mountains and that’s fine. These Bronco SUVs are going to be a lot of fun to drive on any surface, including the wilderness we know best as the concrete of New Jersey. But for those that are truly taking weekend trips to the great outdoors and beyond and are looking to truly test the 2021 Ford Bronco, they will be pleasantly surprised and excited.

5. Powertrain Choices for Off-Road Thrills and Confidence

The 2021 Ford Bronco models will have the best combination of fuel efficiency, output and gearing to take on the wild outdoors with the race-proven, turbocharged EcoBoost engines and segment-first transmission technology. The Bronco Sport has two engine options. The 1.5L EcoBoost with 4×4 is targeting 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2.0L EcoBoost, which is standard on the Badlands and First Edition models, comes with advanced 4×4 and is targeting best-in-class 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque. These two engine options come standard with 8-speed automatic transmission making for very smooth upshifts and downshifts.

The Bronco 2-door and 4-door models will also have two impressive engine options. The 2.3L EcoBoost with 4×4 cranks out an impressive 270 horsepower with best-in-class standard gas torque of 310 lb.-ft. The available 2.7L EcoBoost with 4×4 will produce a best-in-class 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. The segment-first transmissions are something to marvel over. An available segment-first 10-speed transmission will be a game changer against competitors. There’s even a segment-first seven-speed manual transmission that features a unique crawl ratio of up to a best-in-class 94.75:1.

6. Best-In-Class. Period.

Ford didn’t wait all this time to bring back the Bronco just for the sake of re-using the name. They brought it back to destroy the competition. From all indications so far, it will and very easily. Here are all the different best-in-class titles Ford has released so far. These 2021 Ford Bronco SUVs are made to control their segments and completely flip the market share.

  • Best-in-Class Departure Angle and Breakover Angle
  • Best-in-Class Ground Clearance (available 11.6 inches)
  • Best-in-Class Water Fording (available water fording up to 33.5 inches)
  • Best-in-Class Crawl Ratio of 94.75:1 (available seven-speed manual transmission)
  • Best-in-Class Cargo Room Behind the Front Row
  • Best-in-Class Second-Row & Overall Openness (with top removed)
  • Best-in-Class Gasoline Four-Cylinder Torque
  • Best-in-Class Six-Cylinder Gasoline Power
  • Best-in-Class 245 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. torque on Bronco Sport (with 2.0L EcoBoost Advanced 4×4)

I think the sheer number of reservations we’ve received so far show the confidence level customers have in Ford right now, which is great to see. For us at the dealership, our confidence level is pretty high because Ford really did well with bringing back the Ford Ranger. They took a lot of what people loved in the old Ranger’s, added a whole lot of new Ford stuff, and it’s been doing really well in terms of taking market share. Customers are happy with it. Our staff is happy with them overall and the ease of selling them. Ford made sure the Ranger was best-in-class in a lot of areas and it really shows. We expect the Bronco family launch to be similar but even more successful.

7. Names

One of the smaller, yet fun parts about this new 2021 Ford Bronco family are all the new names of various things. Some of the color options include Cactus Gray, Antimatter Blue, Cyber Orange, Kodiak Brown and my personal favorite — Area 51 — a really nice blue/gray. The different models/trims feature names such as: Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Black Diamond and WildTrak. There’s even an available Sasquatch Package for every Bronco that includes 35-inch tires with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, front- and rear-locking differentials, Trail Control™, 4.7 Final Drive Ratio with electronic-locking front and rear axle and more. It’s the little things I guess!

Honorable Mentions

We had to mention this one. The Bronco comes with a bottle opener in the cargo area. That’s right! Perfect for camping, tailgating and so much more. Non-driving events of course because we are strongly against drinking and driving!

From the Author

I’m Jason Savino, the Marketing Director for the All American Auto Group, and these are my seven coolest things about the Bronco family that I’ve seen so far. Speaking of family, we’re one of the true family owned and operated dealerships in New Jersey. My two brothers and I run the day-to-day operations of All American Ford in Old Bridge with our father, Rich Savino. We really pride ourselves on being family owned and operated and helping out in the community.

We have been getting a ton of questions from customers since the Bronco was revealed on July 13th so I thought I’d consolidate some of the things people are asking and talking about. This list of seven really could have been a hundred, but I decided to keep it to a lucky number seven and dive into numerous things with each one. There are so many more things to know and read about the Bronco so I encourage everyone to learn more where they can. Ford Motor Company has been talking about the return of the Bronco for years now at their annual company meetings that I usually attend in Las Vegas, and now it’s finally happening! Comment if you think we’re missing anything. And please know that All American Ford is here for you with all your Ford Bronco needs! We’re happy to help you reserve or order one. You can start the process yourself if you’d like on our website which will bring you to the Ford.com pages.

10 Tips for Maintaining Your Vehicle While Social Distancing

10 Tips for Maintaining Your Vehicle While Social Distancing

Our Service team experts share ways to keep your vehicle in top shape while it’s stuck in the garage or driveway for an extended period of time.

According to the executive order from the State of NJ, our service/parts departments, as well as online sales, are considered essential businesses. Our service/parts departments remain open to assist first responders, emergencies and customers in need of maintenance or repairs. We want to thank ALL first responders, medical personnel and essential workers during these uncertain times. What the vast majority of individuals and companies are doing for our loyal communities is truly incredible. We want to help you by offering our top 10 tips for properly maintaining your vehicle while we all practice social distancing. We recommend you visit our COVID-19 Efforts page for the latest updates and offerings.

Maintaining your vehicle can be easy

Maintaining your vehicle can be easy

Tip #1: Keep Your Battery in Top Shape

Vehicles should be started once every 5-10 days

You battery will slowly lose it’s charge over time as your vehicle remains not in use. This doesn’t mean that there is an issue with the battery, nor does it guarantee it will die after a month of inactivity. It is key to keep this in mind though when it comes to maintaining your vehicle. In newer vehicles especially, things like key-less entry, memory seats, radio memory functions, the security system and many other features of your vehicle draw tiny amounts of power even when it isn’t running. Simply put, some batteries may die before others. The best preventive measure you can take against this is to start your vehicle once every 5-10 days. As with the other engine functions, it’s best to actually drive your vehicle to charge the battery if that option is available to you.

As an alternative, you can let the vehicle idle for 15-30 minutes. Be sure to not do this in a closed garage due to the emissions of carbon monoxide. For more information on batteries, check out our Quick Lane® at All American Ford in Old Bridge Battery Center page.

Tip #2: Avoid Tire Flat Spots

Vehicles should be moved to rotate the tires every 5-10 days to avoid flat spots

When your vehicle is parked for an extended period of time, due to the weight of the car being pressed down in the same spot on the tires, flat spots may begin to develop which can be noticeable when driving. Driving the vehicle will help bring the tires up to their normal operating temperature and help get rid of any flat spots. Checking this tip off your list could be as simple as just backing out of your spot, turning the car around and backing in. If you can’t go for a drive, that will help rotate the wheels enough to prevent the weight of the car from resting on the same parts of the tire.

Be sure to take note of the wear of your tires as well as periodically examining your tires can tell you about their relative health and current life expectancy. Tread depth is a good basic indicator of whether you need to replace your tires. To test your tread depth, one tried-and-true method is to use the penny test. Insert a penny into the groove of the tread with the head of Lincoln pointed down. If you can see all of Lincoln’s head, then it’s time for new tires. If you’re in doubt (or fresh out of pennies), you can always visit us here at All American Ford in Old Bridge for a tire evaluation and recommendation. Having healthy tires helps increase safety, performance and even fuel efficiency.

You can use our online tire finder tool to see what tires are best for your vehicle and continue to master maintaining your vehicle for the long haul!

Tip #3: Check Air Pressure

Check your air pressure in tires monthly

Tires can slowly lose air even without a puncture. There is a label inside of the driver’s door opening that lists the recommended tire pressures for your vehicle. If you can’t make it to a gas station or don’t have a compressor at home, a bicycle pump can actually be used to inflate your tires. Especially between the seasons, tires can naturally lose air pressure from the weather. It is normal for them to fluctuate quite a bit due to the drastic changes in weather — take for example how it recently was 40 degrees one day and then close to 70 degrees the next.

Here at All American Ford in Old Bridge, we offer nitrogen to fill tires as well. There are many benefits that nitrogen offers in maintaining your vehicle, so just ask us if you’re interested! Most newer vehicles have a tire pressure monitoring system. Current levels of pressure appear on your display screen and you get alerted automatically when they are low.

Maintaining your vehicle's tires is important

Maintaining your vehicle’s tires is important too

Tip #4: Avoid Rusty Rotors

Rust can build up on brake rotors, which can negatively affect safety and performance

Reliable brakes are your vehicles most important safety feature. When discussing how important maintaining your vehicle is, your brake rotors are vital. With the constant change in weather and a good amount of rain recently, rust can build up on brake rotors — especially while your vehicle is just sitting in the driveway. We recommend you take a short drive around the neighborhood and brake frequently during the trip. Taking a short drive every 10 days should help with avoiding rust.

Tip #5: Don’t Forget About Your Parking Brake

Leaving your parking brake on can actually be a bad thing over time

The parking brake is operated by a cable or an electric motor that clamps the rear brake pads or shoes to the brake rotor or drum. If you’re leaving your vehicle for a long time in one spot, the parking brake can cause the brake pads to adhere to the rotor or drum surface. This is especially true following periods of rain or high humidity. When you drive frequently, the parking brake is obviously disengaging often. But if it is sitting in your driveway during social distancing, you should cycle the parking brake off, move the car slightly and set it again.

Tip #6: The Importance of Regular Oil Changes

Change your oil every 6 months regardless of mileage

Vehicle manufacturers do have different recommendations for how often to get an oil change and at times it can differ by model. The general rule of thumb is every 6 months or 5,000 miles. However, we do feel it is important to recommend an oil change every 6 months, regardless of mileage. We recommend this is to prevent old oil from settling in the engine. This tip should be used at all times including during social distancing. We know it may be tough to get to us right now for some, but we do offer complimentary service pick up and delivery as well as a Ford Mobile Service Van. We are here to help and make it easy for you when it comes to maintaining your vehicle during social distancing.

Tip #7: Your Engine & Transmission Need Attention Too

Keep those fluids moving

This one is simpler and it helps many parts of your vehicle to get the fluids moving. It’s much like the expression when someone is sitting for too long and they want “to get the blood flowing.” Taking your vehicle out for even a short drive can help move these fluids through your engine and transmission. You want to make sure you get it up to its normal operating temperature. This is indicated when the needle is in the middle of the range for models with a temperature gauge. Now-a-days, with most newer vehicles having a video screen, you can usually find the digital temperature gauge there. It is always advised to get these fluids moving through the engine, transmission, brake and steering hydraulic systems and climate control system, to continue maintaining your vehicle.

Tip #8: Learn Your Technology

Do you have extra free time? Why not master your technology?

Not everyone has free time at the moment. Some of us do though. We recommend you taking your vehicle for a quick swing around the neighborhood. You can then sit in your driveway in your vehicle learning all the technology that it has to offer. That will knock off 80%-90% of our tips right there. The latest Ford vehicles have so much technology in them, it’s very difficult to become an expert just on delivery. There are a lot of hidden gems that could really help you with safety, comfort, performance or even visually. Some that you may just not realize or have forgotten about.

While our sales, service and parts teams are always here for you to answer any questions or show you new things, Ford provides an amazing resource of how-to support. You can learn all about your dash & interior, SYNC & technology, safety & security, under the hood & mechanics, vehicle care and so much more.

Tip #9: Keep it Clean

Get outside, enjoy the nice weather and clean your vehicle

Now that you’ve binge-watched everything on Netflix, take the time to give your vehicle some love. We recommend cleaning your vehicle in your driveway (at an appropriate social distance from your neighbors, of course).  It may sound counter intuitive to clean your vehicle when you’re not driving it. However, it’s a satisfying job and shouldn’t be overlooked. Insects, tree sap and bird droppings left on the car can actually damage the paint over time. You should routinely wash them off using a light detergent. Do not use strong soap or chemical detergents.

Be sure to clean the underside of the vehicle to get rid of dirt and the last remains of winter salt. Vacuum and clean the interior of your car and find that missing french fry hiding under your seat. While it still may look fresh from the fryer, we don’t recommend eating it in the name of maintaining your vehicle. The interior of your vehicle is water- and airtight. If you leave it sitting for an extended period with the windows closed, you’ll probably notice that the air inside has gotten stale. After you start the car, turn on the air conditioner for a few minutes with the recirculating button turned off. Also roll down the windows to let fresh air flow throughout the interior. This helps with freshening up the interior, filters and vents.

We have created a separate page specifically sharing guidelines for cleaning your vehicle: How to Clean Your Car for Coronavirus.

Maintaining your vehicle by keeping it clean

Maintaining your vehicle by keeping it clean

Tip #10: And Keep the Critters Out

Was this a stretch to get to the round number of 10 tips? Not necessarily

The bonus of keeping the interior of the car clean is that it’s less attractive to critters like field mice or squirrels, which can get under the hood. This can leave you with a mess of leaves in every available nook and cranny, or chew through wires. When vehicles are left outside, the chances of this happening do increase and we know that even if it seems unlikely to happen, it can. We have had customers come in with families of squirrels nesting right under the hood. Unfortunately when this happens, Animal Control needs to be called to help remove them which costs money.

All American Ford in Old Bridge is here to help when it comes to maintaining your vehicle

We are currently open for service and remote online sales, in accordance with the executive order of NJ. Our award-winning service center has offered complimentary service pick up and delivery for years, well before COVID-19. We have a larger fleet than ever before and will continue to offer it free of charge. For the past year, we’ve been able to offer a state-of-the-art Ford Mobile Service Van. It can come to your driveway and perform oil changes, tire rotations, routine maintenance, safety checks and even recalls. We have stepped up our already stellar sanitizing efforts due to COVID-19. And are proud to be one of the few dealerships in NJ to offer an EPA-registered fresh start sanitizing mist spray. We use this spray on all service vehicles and new sales deliveries. We continue to use plastic wrap on the steering wheels, whole front seat and floor mats for service customers.

Don’t settle for less, work with the best. We are the #1 Ford dealership in New Jersey and the #1 Ford Service Center in the tri-state area.

JAR of Hope Charity Texas Hold' Em

JAR of Hope Charity Texas Hold’ Em Event

All American Ford in Old Bridge hosts their first ever charity Texas Hold’ Em event in their showroom for JAR of Hope

1st Annual JAR of Hope Charity Texas Hold’ Em Tournament

The 1st Annual JAR of Hope charity Texas Hold ‘em tournament was held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at All American Ford in Old Bridge. It’s the latest in a line of creative events thrown by JAR of Hope to raise awareness and critical funds needed to research a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Jim Raffone is the founder and CEO of JAR of Hope. He founded the non-profit with his wife, Karen, after their son, Jamesy, was diagnosed with DMD. Doctors said that there was nothing they could do for Jamesy, but the Raffones refused to give up. They created JAR of Hope to raise awareness and funds for research into finding a cure to save not only their son, but all children affected by this disease. Visit jarofhope.org for more information.

Charity Texas Hold' Em

James Raffone, Found & CEO of JAR of Hope

This event was incredibly special to Jim and JAR of Hope as it was a way to honor the life of Mario Dell’Anno. The Dell’Anno family was present at this event and also participated in the poker tournament. As stated by Jim Raffone, “This event was important to the Dell’Anno family, as it was a way to support a great cause while honoring the memory of their father who enjoyed playing cards.”

The Event was a Huge Success

Over 150 attendees were at the event and nearly $150,000 was raised from sponsorships, $200 tournament buy-ins, re-buy-ins and raffles. The top 8 players took home over $10,000 between them, with the winner receiving $5,600. Everyone in attendance had a great time and it was unanimously decided that this could become a yearly occurrence.

JAR of Hope & the Dell’Anno Family

The connection between the Dell’Anno family and JAR of Hope dates back to 1985, when Jim Raffone and Mr. Mario Dell’Anno’s son played basketball together in high school. Due to the support from Mr. Dell’Anno and his family, JAR of Hope has been able to get the Phase I mHBOT study off the ground, and has also helped in the launching a phase II study that can change the trajectory of this disease.

All American Ford and JAR of Hope

Jim Raffone has always been a Ford guy and he would always go to Oasis Ford in Old Bridge to get his trucks. Rich Savino purchased the location and changed the name to All American Ford in September 2008. Rich is the Dealer Principle as he runs the day-to-day operations along with his three sons, making it a truly family owned and operated business. When Jim came back for his next truck he met Chris Savino, the General Manager of the store and Rich’s eldest son. Jim discussed JAR of Hope with Chris, leaving him truly inspired. They worked out an incredible deal to get Jim a new truck that would assist him in continuing his fight against DMD. Much like the truck that he drives, Jim and his son Jamesy are truly Built Ford Tough.

Jim has been such an inspiration to the Savino family as their values closely coincide. Over the last few years, All American Ford in Old Bridge and JAR of Hope have worked closely as their relationship has grown. Together, they have worked on many exciting projects, all in an effort to raise more awareness and funds for JAR of Hope & DMD research. Throughout the All American Auto Group locations, you can find JAR of Hope logos and information proudly displayed on the TVs and digital display boards.

JAR of Hope Sponsorships

From sponsorships to multiple events including marathons & races, the JAR of Hope Gala, Stadium Run, Golf Outing, a 1969 Mustang Raffle and so much more, the All American Auto Group continues to be there to support Jim and JAR of Hope.  In February of 2019, Jim traveled half way around the world to Australia to participate in race that would raise DMD awareness. The Savino family proudly flew JAR of Hope flags outside of their locations to show support. When the flag was raised at the Old Bridge location, Mayor Owen Henry came out to show his support as well.

In the winter of 2019, Jim mentioned to the Savino’s that he was planning a charity Texas Hold ‘em tournament and was in need of a location to host it. Chris and Jason immediately offered their dealership showroom at their Old Bridge, NJ location without charging anything to Jim or JAR of Hope. This event was another perfect opportunity to give back to the community, while helping out Jim and JAR of Hope. It was also exciting for them to be hosting their first charity Texas Hold ‘em event at the dealership. All American Ford cleared out their entire showroom while NJ Casino Nights and JAR of Hope had their staff and many volunteers help turn it into a professional poker floor.
