The history of All American Auto Group

All American Ford in Old Bridge is family-owned and operated by two great families; the Savinos and the Selmans. Rich Savino is the Dealer Principle of our Old Bridge location and his history in the automotive industry started back in the late 1960s. Rich started his career as a 15-year-old, unlicensed Parts Driver on Long Island, NY. He quickly moved up and held every major position in the dealership from Service Advisor, Service & Parts Director, Salesperson, Sales Manager and General Manager.

By 2003, he bought Able Ford of Rockville Centre on Long Island, NY. In 2008, because of the success Rich had, Ford offered him a chance to take over Oasis Ford in Old Bridge, NJ, a location more than 6 times the physical size of his Long Island Dealership.

Oasis Ford also came with Oasis Subaru (now All American Subaru) here in Old Bridge, NJ for the Savino Family. Rich kept most of the management team from Oasis Ford & Subaru; in fact, there are more than ten employees who are still in high positions today. It's that kind of consistency that is rarely heard of in the automotive industry and truly makes for a great customer experience year after year. In 2009, Rich teamed up with the Selman brothers, whom owned All American Ford in Hackensack and All American Ford in Paramus, thus creating the All American Auto Group.

These three Ford dealerships were all in the Top 100 Ford Volume in the U.S. making us one of the largest and most successful Auto Groups in the country. In 2015, our group purchased the Weisleder Ford in Ocean County, which became All American Ford in Point Pleasant. Recently, the group acquired a Jerr-Dan Dealership which allows us to sell Jerr-Dan Tow Trucks, Carriers & Wreckers out of all of our stores (with Old Bridge and Paramus being the main hubs).

Since 2016, All American Ford in Old Bridge has been the #1 Ford Dealership in NJ, in the Top 2 for Ford Dealerships in the tri-state area (NJ - NY - CT), in the Top 6 in the East Region and in the Top 75 in the United States. We have won the prestigious Ford President's Award two years running for excellence in customer service. We're in the Top 25 in the U.S. in Ford Commercial Truck Volume and have won many awards from FordCredit for excellence in customer & business financing.

In 2017, the All American Auto Group is handpicked by MOTORTREND(R) to have exclusive rights in New Jersey to their prestigious pre-owned certification program, something only 40 dealerships across the country have access to. MOTORTREND is very selective about only allowing the very best dealerships to use their certification program.

The groups next purchases are both in April 2018. One was purchasing Prestige Lincoln and renaming it Lincoln of Paramus. The second was acquiring Nussbaum Sales Corp. of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Nussbaum was one of the leading Jerr-Dan Tow Truck distributors in the Northeast. From this, All American Jerr-Dan was born with locations in Old Bridge and Paramus. 

In June 2020, our Auto Group sold our Lincoln of Paramus location and then in October 2021, we also sold our Mazda in Brick location. By early 2021, we moved all of our used car centers from the MOTORTREND Certified program to the Blue Advantage Certified program.

Our employees and customers will tell you that our success and awards can be attributed to our family operated style of business. While Rich Savino and his partners are the owners, the day-to-day operations are run by Rich's three sons. Chris Savino, is the General Manager of our Old Bridge, Point Pleasant and Brick locations. Nick Savino is the Service & Parts Director. And Rich's youngest son, Jason Savino, is the Digital Operations Director for the whole group. It's through this family structure that brings the best experience to the customer, time and time again.
